Biography
Oleksii Kuleba was born on 08 August 1983 in Kyiv.
Education:
In 2005, he graduated from Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman with a degree in International Economics and a master's degree in International Economics.
From 2005 to 2008, Oleksii Kuleba studied at the graduate school of the National Academy of Public Administration under the President of Ukraine. He was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Public Administration.
Employment history:
Oleksii Kuleba started his employment history in 2005 as a manager of Kyiv Media, a municipal enterprise of the Kyiv Regional Council, Kyiv.
2005 - 2008 - Assistant to the People's Deputy of Ukraine.
2007 – 2010 - Director General at Khanin and Partners LLC.
In 2010, Oleksii Kuleba worked as a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Self-Government Organisation of PJSC Higher Educational Institution Interregional Academy of Personnel Management.
2010 - 2015 - People’s Deputy of the Rzhyshchiv City Council (on a voluntary basis).
In 2014, he worked as Assistant to People’s Deputy of the Kyiv City Council (on a voluntary basis).
2016 – 2017 - Advisor to Director General of the municipal enterprise for protection, maintenance, and operation of lands at the Water Fund of Kyiv ‘Pleso’ of the executive body of the Kyiv City Council (Kyiv City State Administration) (on a voluntary basis).
2018 – 2019 - Director General of Asper LLC, Kyiv.
2019 – 2020 - Director of the Department for Urban Development of the executive body of the Kyiv City Council (Kyiv City State Administration).
01 January 2021 - February 2022 - First Deputy Head of Kyiv City State Administration for the implementation of self-government powers.
08 February 2022 - 15 March 2022 - Head of Kyiv Regional State Administration.
From March to May 2022, Oleksii Kuleba was the Chief of External Advisory Group to the Head of Kyiv Regional Military Administration.
21 May 2022 - 24 January 2023 - Head of Kyiv Regional State Administration.
24 January 2023 - 05 September 2024 - Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.
On 05 September 2024, the Verkhovna Rada by 240 votes supported Oleksii Kuleba's appointment as the Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine - the Minister for Development of Communities and Territories.
