Prime Minister of Ukraine Introduces Mykola Kalashnyk to the Team of the Ministry for Recovery, Infrastructure and Transport of Ukraine
On 20 July, Prime Minister of Ukraine Serhii Koretskyi introduced the newly appointed Minister, Mykola Kalashnyk, to the staff of the Ministry for Recovery, Infrastructure and Transport of Ukraine.

During the introduction, Mykola Kalashnyk thanked President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy for his trust, the Prime Minister of Ukraine for his support and for defining the Ministry's key priorities, and the Members of Parliament of Ukraine for supporting his appointment.
Addressing the Ministry's staff, Mykola Kalashnyk emphasised that the Ministry would continue operating as usual, with ensuring the country's resilience, restoring communities, and developing infrastructure remaining among its core responsibilities.

«We face many challenges ahead, and there is no time to waste. We are moving forward at full speed from day one, because the results of our work directly affect the resilience of the state, the safety of our people, and the recovery of our country», — Mykola Kalashnyk said.
He stressed that the Ministry's greatest asset is its team of dedicated professionals who ensure the functioning of Ukraine's transport system, coordinate the recovery of communities, implement large-scale infrastructure projects, and cooperate with international partners.

According to the Minister, the immediate priorities include preparing the country for the autumn and winter period, implementing the Ukraine Resilience Plan, protecting critical and energy infrastructure, developing the transport system and logistics, and advancing recovery efforts.
«Our task is not merely to rebuild what has been destroyed, but to create modern, safe, and resilient infrastructure capable of functioning even under wartime conditions», — Mykola Kalashnyk emphasised.

He also noted that the Ministry's work would be guided by the principles of openness, professionalism, and swift decision-making, while tangible results for the state, communities, and people would remain the primary measure of success. -
«Together with the team of the Ministry for Recovery, Infrastructure and Transport of Ukraine, the Government, regional military administrations, local communities, and our international partners, we will continue implementing the tasks set by the President of Ukraine and the Government to strengthen the country's resilience and support Ukraine's recovery », — the Minister concluded.

The Minister also expressed his gratitude to Oleksii Kuleba for his service as Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine – Minister for Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine, noting that during his tenure a number of important decisions and projects had been launched, creating a strong foundation for the Ministry's future work.
