Kyiv region remains one of the priority areas of recovery. Together with the team of the Ministry for Development of Communities and Territories, the Agency for Restoration, the Kyiv Regional Military Administration and local authorities, systematic work on the reconstruction of the region continues. This was emphasized by the Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration - Minister for Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Oleksii Kuleba during a working trip to the Kyiv region.

In total, more than 30,000 objects have been damaged in the Kyiv region since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. Of these, more than 25,000 private houses, more than 2,000 apartment buildings, as well as hundreds of social and critical infrastructure facilities.

As of today, more than 23 thousand have been restored - this is 75% of all damaged objects. More than 15.5 thousand families in the Kyiv region have already received compensation under the eVidnovlennia (eRecovery) program for damaged housing, another 3.5 thousand families - for destroyed ones. The total amount of payments is more than 10 billion hryvnias.

One of the focuses of the work is Borodyanka. The village, which was almost completely destroyed in the first weeks of the invasion, is now being rebuilt.

“In Borodyanka, 825 objects were destroyed or damaged. Almost 600 have already been restored — that is, 72%. An Administrative Services Center is operating here, a rehabilitation center is working, a lyceum has been opened, and a temporary Active Park has been equipped. We are restoring not only housing — we are creating public spaces, social institutions, and a barrier-free environment. The work continues every day,” said Oleksii Kuleba.

As part of the restoration of the community, comprehensive work is being carried out: social protection facilities are being renovated, convenient routes for low-mobility groups are being created, and infrastructure for children, youth, and families is being developed.

Another important direction is the restoration of logistics routes, in particular bridges and artificial structures.

After the full-scale invasion, 29 bridges and other infrastructure structures were damaged in the Kyiv region. 9 of them have already been put into operation, and 7 more are in operation this year.

"A vivid example of restoration is the bridge near Vyshgorod. More than 20% of the work has already been completed. Metal structures have been delivered from the UK, a technological island has been built, and the installation of supports and slabs is underway. The project is being implemented with co-financing from the Government of Ukraine and international partners. The Kyiv region demonstrates that reconstruction is concrete daily work," noted the Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine - Minister for Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine.
