A working meeting was held between the Ministry for Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine and a parliamentary delegation of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The Ministry was represented by Deputy Ministers Maryna Denysiuk, Oleksii Riabykin, and Artem Rybchenko.

The Azerbaijani delegation included Seymur Mardaliyev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Ukraine, and Alibala Maharramzade, Member of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Head of the Milli Majlis Working Group on Inter-Parliamentary Relations between Azerbaijan and Ukraine.

The parties discussed promising areas of bilateral cooperation, particularly in the context of Ukraine's recovery and attracting investment. The main focus was on creating financial mechanisms that would enable Azerbaijani businesses to expand their presence in the Ukrainian market.

The parties also discussed the possibility of joining efforts to engage Asian investment funds in financing Ukraine's reconstruction.

A separate part of the discussion focused on the establishment of joint ventures. In particular, the parties explored opportunities for manufacturing municipal transport vehicles and cooperating in the construction sector, including drawing on the expertise of Azerbaijani companies and specialists.

The Azerbaijani side expressed its readiness to share its own post-war reconstruction experience, including legislative frameworks that encouraged the return of citizens following the restoration of Azerbaijan's territorial integrity.

The parties also emphasised the importance of strengthening direct contacts between the business communities of both countries. Azerbaijani partners invited representatives of the Ministry for Development of Communities and Territories to visit the regions of Azerbaijan to study reconstruction efforts firsthand and establish direct contacts with potential business investors.
