Today, ambassadors and representatives of more than 60 foreign embassies visited the Darnytsia Thermal Power Plant. Among them were ambassadors and diplomats from the United States, Japan, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Turkey, Poland, Canada, Lithuania, representatives of the European Union, as well as Oksana Markarova, Advisor to the Head of State on Rebuilding and Investments. The delegation saw the consequences of the missile attacks on the critical energy infrastructure facility.

"We are at one of Kyiv's thermal power plants, which russia heavily shelled last night. The attack was deliberate, cynical and in defiance of diplomatic agreements on de-escalation. It happened just as the temperature dropped to -25°C(-13°F). This facility provided heat to thousands of people. It is important that our partners see this terrorism with their own eyes. We thank our partners for their help, but the scale of the destruction requires even greater speed and support. Protecting our energy sector means protecting European security," said Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine — Minister for Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Oleksii Kuleba.

"The visit of 60 ambassadors to the Darnytsia Thermal Power Plant is not just a protocol event. It is a sign of solidarity with Ukraine and with Ukrainian civilian facilities, which are targeted by armed aggression on a daily basis. The destruction you see is direct evidence of a war crime. A deliberate attack on civilian infrastructure with the aim of leaving people without heat in freezing conditions. These are basic conditions for life," said the management of Euro-Reconstruction LLC during the meeting.

The Darnytsia Thermal Power Plant is a critical energy infrastructure facility that Russia has targeted with a missile strike. It is not a military base, a defence facility or an element of offensive potential. It is an energy enterprise that provides heat to hundreds of thousands of peaceful residents of Kyiv — hospitals, schools and residential buildings.

The full restoration of the Darnytsia Thermal Power Plant is now critical to restoring heat to the homes of hundreds of thousands of Kyiv residents. This requires significant resources, from specific technical equipment to financial support.

Any assistance from partners is not just a contribution to the restoration of the enterprise's operations, but a real protection of people and the provision of their basic needs in difficult conditions. The results of the visit should form the basis for further decisions at the level of states and international institutions.
